Mercedes-Benz Unleashes AMG Performance Centre In New Delhi

German automaker Mercedes-Benz has a put in a great strategy to march ahead of BMW and Audi in the Indian auto market. The company is planning a product offensive in India this year by launching a number of new products and now the company has also launched India’s first AMG Performance Centre in New Delhi at T&T Motors which is a dealer for Mercedes vehicles. This will be a one-of-a-kind experience for existing and potential customers of vehicles from the AMG stable. These AMG Performance Centres will also be introduced in Bengaluru and Mumbai and the company has planned to launch these three centres in a period of three consecutive days.

These AMG Performance Centres will consist of staff that has been given special training to deal with buyers of these sporty vehicles. Mercedes-Benz is focussing on creating a very good experience for customers in the sales as well as service departments. These centres have been designed with exclusive furniture and colour schemes to make them feel special. Mario Spitzner, Director Branding and Marketing Mercedes-AMG, said that AMG vehicles offer a great driving feel on as well as off the road. The AMG Centres will allow customers to check out AMG cars, accessories, optional features, etc. allowing them to make the right choice with the help of the trained staff.

Buyers of AMG vehicles also get access to the AMG Private Lounge which is an online portal meant exclusively for AMG owners. Here, owners can discuss their vehicles and share tips with other like-minded people from different parts of the globe. The sports vehicle segment in India is witnessing a significant growth and hence various companies are planning different strategies to rake in sales. BMW, Audi and Porsche too organise various driving experiences for prospective customers.

Mercedes-Benz also launched the new ML63 AMG today at a price tag of Rs. 1.49 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). Besides the ML63 AMG, the German carmaker also sells the C63 AMG, E63 AMG, SLK 55 AMG, G63 AMG and GL63 AMG in India. Giving competition to AMG cars are the M series vehicles from BMW, S and RS series vehicles from Audi along with Jaguars and Porsches.
