MG Hector Plus Dealer Dispatch Begins, Launch Next Month

The one on the left is the 5-seater Hector, the right one is the Hector Plus

MG Hector Plus dealer dispatch commences as the launch is scheduled for July 2020. The car has been spotted arriving at dealerships by MotorBeamer Prince Srikant. MG Motor started rolling out the 6-seater SUV from their Halol plant in Gujarat a few days back.

Yes it resembles the regular 5-seater Hector to some extent but there are significant changes to differentiate between the two. Firstly, the front profile gets a revised grille which is larger in size. There is a new headlight setup with revised LED DRL design. The headlamps on the new bumper now integrate the floating indicator strips.

The alloy wheels remain unchanged, the car is longer in size. There is a new tailgate along with a new bumper design. The tail light is slightly tweaked and there is no red stripe running between the lights as in the case with 5-seater version.

The interior is more luxurious and gets tan brown leatherette upholstery. It comes with captain seats in the middle row that adds to the premium factor and a huge panoramic sunroof. If you notice the interior spy shot, there is a considerable amount of space left even when the third row seats are up.

It will get the same engine options as the 5-seater variant. To compete with the Toyota Innova Crysta, Tata Gravitas and Mahindra XUV500.
