Modified Mahindra Thar By DC Design Looks Crazy

The exaggerated front grille might remind you of Peppa Pig

Do you remember the first modified Mahindra Thar by DC Design? It was revealed at the 2018 Auto Expo as DC Hammer. It had a relatively more practical design.

This time around, they have come up with a more quirky modification of the Mahindra Thar. Although it is a render, the company seems to be taking enquiries and orders for this custom job via their social media pages.

The front profile is dominated by a huge (extremely oversized) grille. There is a chrome bumper underneath which looks like a nice touch, not practical though. The headlights are positioned under the wheel arches, wrapped with the claddin.

From the side profile it looks like a modern dune buggy thanks to the huge tyres and a hollow silhouette in the middle. Yes, the doors have glass and you can see through it.

Now the rear just gets lights and a spare wheels since the humongous tyre dominates around 80 percent of the rear profile.

DC Design has revealed black and red colours for this modification. Looking at the comments on their posts, we realised it is a love it or hate it design. Do tell us what do you think about this modification.

Modified Mahindra Thar

This rendering doesn’t get detailed interior, gear levers and handbrake missing
The tyre size is huge, so much so that the rear profile just gets lights and spare wheel, no bumper
The red colour adds to the contrast with its cladding
From this angle it looks more like a dune buggy
