Bajaj Auto has officially confirmed that it will unveil the next-generation Pulsar on 12 August. The teaser, with the tagline “Twist Into An All-New Rush”, hints that this could be much more than a routine update. Instead, it looks like Bajaj is getting ready to introduce a whole new generation of the iconic Pulsar.
While the company hasn’t revealed which model will make its debut, there’s a good chance it could be the Pulsar 150 or even the Pulsar 125. The motorcycle has been around for 25 years and remains one of Bajaj’s most iconic products, making it the perfect bike to kick off this new chapter. There is also speculation that Bajaj could use this opportunity to introduce its first flex-fuel (E85-compliant) Pulsar, supporting India’s push towards cleaner alternative fuels.
The upcoming Pulsar is expected to get a completely fresh design along with an updated chassis, improved engine, better suspension and a more modern feature list. The overall focus is likely to be on making the bike more fun to ride while also improving comfort and everyday usability.
Bajaj has been updating its Pulsar N and NS range over the last few years, but the original Pulsar lineup has remained largely unchanged. That’s why this launch feels like an important one, as it could shape the future of the entire Pulsar family.
