Kawasaki Indonesia has released a new teaser video of the Ninja ZX-25R that shows the motorcycle redlining to a ballistic 17,000 RPM. The video reveals the design of the instrument cluster that features a large analogue tachometer flanked by warning lamps on each side and a gear position indicator. The motorcycle also gets a multi-function LCD screen on the other.

Apart from that, this Japanese firecracker gets rider support features like traction control, power mode selection and a quick shifter. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX 25R features the brand’s new design language similar to the ZX-6R and Ninja 400. However, the ZX-25R does get a sharper tail. It comes with a Showa SFF-BP fork and a back-link rear suspension.

2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is powered by a 249cc, inline-4, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine. The company hasn’t revealed the power and torque figures yet but it could produce upwards of 50 PS. The pricing of the Kawasaki ZX-25R is expected to be a little on the expensive side, at least for a 250cc bike. It is even doubtful if it will be launched in India. As far as competition in the global markets is concerned, it will rival the Honda CBR250RR.
