Kinetic Electric Scooter Design Patented, Reveals Key Design Cues
Kinetic Watts and Volts Limited is the electric division of the Kinetic Engineering Group, patented the design for its upcoming electric scooter in India.
The electric scooter has similarities with the original Kinetic Honda ZX. Kinetic Watts and Volts Limited has not yet revealed the name of the scooter. The scooter features various modern design cues inspired by the iconic scooter. The most noticeable aspects which are borrowed from the Kinetic Honda ZX include the rear section and the flat seat structure.
There is a unique headlight design with DRLs on both sides. Additionally, there is also a small visor with ‘Kinetic’ lettering, potentially paying tribute to the iconic scooter. However, other details such as the battery pack remain under wraps for the moment.
Outlook
Notably, Kinetic Engineering Group inaugurated the first manufacturing facility in Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra. The electric scooter may well be produced at this plant. This scooter appears to be in the preliminary phase of production, and its true potential can only be tested when it is mass produced.
