Nissan Ariya EV Spotted Testing In India For The First Time

We might get it soon in India via CBU route

Nissan Ariya spotted completely undisguised in the country

Nissan Ariya has been spotted in India for the first time. The all-electric vehicle has been spotted by MotorBeamer Vedant Rokade in Maharashtra.

The Japanese carmaker has made no announcements about the launch of their EVs. However, this is likely to be their first electric vehicle for their Indian market portfolio.

The Nissan Ariya has a clean design language. It looks more like a crossover from the rear profile thanks to the sloping coupe like roofline. It has got some unique alloy wheel design for better aerodynamics.

It comes in multiple 2WD and AWD variants having a wide range of battery pack options. The range topping version has a claimed driving range of 490 km (87 kWh battery pack) on a single charge. It does 0-100 km/hr in 4.8 seconds with its 389 HP electric motor.

We believe Nissan will introduce a few units of Ariya in the Indian market by importing it via CBU. It will compete with the recently launched Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
