Nissan India have revealed some teaser images that show the styling of the upcoming Kicks slated to arrive in India soon.
The Nissan Kicks is going to be launched in the Indian market in the coming few months but ahead of that, the Japanese automaker has showcased some teaser images that show sketches of the compact SUV.
The Nissan Kicks will be positioned in the compact SUV segment in India that currently has offerings like the Renault Duster and Captur, Nissan Terrano and Hyundai Creta. The Kicks will also compete with the Maruti S-Cross.
The Nissan Kicks will come with the automaker’s signature V-grille and will feature butch styling. It will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options here. The possibility of an automatic gearbox is also there but AWD isn’t likely to be offered.
To price the SUV competitively, Nissan will resort to heavy localisation. Under the hood, expect it to get the same engines as the Renault Duster – 1.5-litre petrol and diesel. In terms of pricing, the Kicks will be slotted in the same range as the Captur.
