Production Spec 2015 TVS Victor Spotted Testing With Camouflage

TVS will launch the new Victor motorcycle in the country around the festive season this year with power coming from a 125cc single-cylinder engine.

The new TVS Victor will directly rival the Honda CB Shine and Hero Glamour in the segment

One of the very popular products for TVS Motor Company, the Chennai based automaker is all set to revive the Victor brand in the country with the new generation model expected to hit the market sometime around the festive season this year. Ahead of the official launch in the following months, a partially camouflaged production spec test mule of the Victor was recently spotted, revealing in great detail about the automaker’s newest 125cc offering.

To begin with, the 2015 TVS Victor will get a front bikini fairing that seems to have taken inspiration from the original version. You also get a faux air scoop in the middle, like the one seen on the Star City. The bike rides on 5-spoke alloy wheels while braking duties are performed by front and rear drum brakes. The suspension setup comprises of telescopic forks at the front and a double rated rear spring setup that will be tuned for enhanced ride comfort. The motorcycle also gets an elongated single seat to accommodate the rider and pillion with ease.

The midship exhaust muffler was completely different and unlike any unit seen on the current TVS offerings. Other features will be pretty basic on the upcoming TVS Victor including the conventional headlamps and tail lamps, while the grab rails and saree guard get an all-black finish. Furthermore, the bike gets a conventional chrome fuel filler cap, while an analog instrument cluster with a digital display can be expected too. In terms of power, a 125cc motor (from the Phoenix) will power the new Victor as the bike will be locking horns against the Honda CB Shine and Hero Glamour in the segment. More details on the new model will be available by the end of this year.

The Victor holds high brand value for TVS and the company is looking to capitalise on the same
