Tata Nexon Production Model Spotted

The compact SUV from Tata Motors, the Nexon has been spied yet again and this time it seems to be the production ready model.

The Tata Nexon too carries the IMPACT design language

The production spec Tata Nexon has been spotted without any camouflage and is expected to be launched this year. The car was showcased at the Auto Expo last year and the production spec model which was spotted doesn’t differ much to the one seen at the biennial event.

The Tata Nexon production model which was spotted was probably the top-end variant, sporting alloy wheels. Lookswise, the Nexon too shall carry the IMPACT design language akin to the Tiago, Hexa and the recently launched Tigor. The spied images reveal the side and rear of the car. The vehicle shall sport the smiling grille with the Tata logo and projector headlamps. Coming to the side, the strong character line that starts from the front-wheel arch and runs till the tail-lamps is very much evident. There are black mouldings on the doors and the beefed-up wheel arches. It sits on snazzy looking alloys.

At the rear, there is a clear-lens tail-lamp unit and a black strip of plastic sticking in between the tail-lights of the Tata Nexon. There is a sporty looking black roof spoiler too. Overall the sub 4-metre Nexon looks butch and big. The compact SUV, is expected to be offered with the tried and tested 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel and the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol motor. The Nexon shall be Tata’s answer to the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.
