Pulsar 220F BS6 Price Increased By Rs. 10,500/-

The latest price hike of Pulsar 220F is Rs. 2503/-

Bajaj Pulsar 220F BS6 price has increased yet again. The bike was updated to BS6 in February with a price hike of Rs. 8000/-. Now there is an additional Rs. 2503/- price increase which makes a total of Rs. 10,503/- hike in price compared to BS4 model.

The 220F is now available with a price tag of Rs. 1,19,789/- (ex-showroom). This is a significant price hike just for the additional fuel injection technology.

Bajaj Auto hasn’t given the Pulsar 220F any significant updates with BS6. There are no visual changes, no feature updated but only engine tweaks to make it BS6 compliant.

The initial Rs. 8000/- hike from BS4 was somewhat justified as the transition resulted in high input costs. However, the recent Rs. 2503/- hike doesn’t get anything to the table.

There are no changes in the specifications. The 220F is powered by a 220cc, 2-Valve, Twin Spark BS6 motor. It produces 20.4 PS at 8500 RPM and 18.55 Nm torque at 7000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The bike comes with telescopic suspension up front and 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber at the rear. Bajaj offers 280 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc brake.

The Pulsar 220F has a 15-litre fuel tank capacity. The ground clearance is 165 mm while the kerb weight is 160 kg. It is available in two colour options – Black/Blue and Black/Red.

With this gradually increasing pricing, the sales of the bike might get affected.
