Renault Duster Explore Limited Edition Launched, Priced At Rs. 9.99 Lakhs

Renault has launched the Duster Explore limited edition and it comes with various cosmetic tweaks that make the vehicle more desirable.

The black and orange theme has been applied to various interior components

The Duster is the only vehicle from Renault’s India portfolio that sells in decent numbers. Launching limited edition vehicles in India has become a new and fast-growing trend amongst companies and Renault is the latest one to join the gang. The French automaker has launched a limited edition model of the Duster and it is called the Duster Explore limited edition. Let us explore what all changes or additions this edition brings to the Duster. The first thing that you notice on the Duster Explore limited edition are the jazzed up exteriors. The vehicle gets a bull bar with fog lights at the front along with racing stripes running across the length of the body.

The racing stripes are black in colour and have an orange accent to them. The same theme is carried over to the ORVMs and alloys too. The black ORVMs too get thin orange accents while the centre part of the alloys also come in orange. There are decals on the C-pillar as well as the lower part of the doors and these too have an orange and black colour scheme. Moving to the interiors, the same theme is carried over to the seats, floor mats, AC vents, door trims, steering wheel and instrument cluster too. This black and orange colour theme looks quite good and appealing and it also lends a sporty touch to an already rugged SUV.

On the mechanical front, there are absolutely no changes. The Renault Duster is powered by a 1.5-litre DCi diesel engine that is offered in two states of tune – 85 PS and 110 PS. The lower tune gets a 5-speed manual gearbox while the higher tune makes use of a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Explore limited edition is offered in 85 PS RxL and 110 PS RxL variants and it is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakhs and Rs. 11.10 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. Is the Renault Duster Explore limited Edition a Hyundai Creta effect? We think so!
