Renault Kiger Front End Revealed Ahead Of 28th January Debut

The new compact SUV sheds some camouflage up front to reveal new details

Renault Kiger front profile revealed ahead of its global debut next week. The French carmaker is all set to introduce their new compact SUV on 28th January.

The test mule spotted here, thanks to MotorBeamer Sufiyan Munshi, has shed some camouflage that reveals the front-end design of the car.

Renault Kiger’s front profile gets a sharp LED light cluster which is infused in the grille design making it look sleek up front. The main headlight unit is integrated in the muscular bumper which is a tri-beam projector.

Some SUV-esque elements include clamshell styling bonnet, flared wheel arches, body cladding, high roof rails, etc. It comes with large LED tail lights which might come across as exaggerated units of the Kwid.

Renault claims the production version will retain 80 percent of the styling from the concept car.

It is based on the same CMFA+ platform which underpins the Nissan Magnite. Renault will offer 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and turbo petrol engine options with the Kiger.

Both the engine options will come with 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The turbo variant is expected to get CVT automatic transmission option while the NA engine is likely to get AMT option.
