Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Spied Yet Again

The Continental GT 750 has been spied yet again, this time from a closer range with clearer images.

The Continental GT 750 does away with clip-on handlebars, and gets ‘Clubman’ handlebars

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 has been caught testing several times, and this time it has been spied from a closer range. The motorcycle was spotted in Chennai.

The images of the Continental GT 750 reveal a whole lot about the upcoming Royal Enfield bike. For starters, there’s the twin cylinder 750cc fuel-injected motor. The new engine is an oil-cooled unit. The motorcycle sits on the same chassis as the Continental 500 but for the Continental 750, the sub-frame has been extended to accommodate the design changes.

Gone are the clip-on handlebars and in comes a ‘Clubman’ handlebar. The new digital cum analogue instrument cluster looks neat and classy. The disc brakes get ABS and that is evident from the sensor ring seen in the rear disc. The bike also features Pirelli tyres.

The Continental 750 is expected to produce 45-50 HP of power and will be launched by this festive season. However, Royal Enfield has given no official information on the launch of its first twin-cylinder motorbike which makes us wait in anticipation. Once launched, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 will go against the Harley Davidson Street 750 and the Triumph Street Twin. It is expected to be priced under Rs. 4 lakhs.
