Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Spotted Testing, Gets Styling Cues From The Continental GT-R 650 Race Bike
Royal Enfield has been spotted testing the Continental GT 750 ahead of its official launch. It will replace the outgoing Continental GT 650 in the brand’s global product portfolio with the new GT 750. The new GT 750 will introduce several design and mechanical upgrades over its predecessor.
Design Cues
The test mule reveals styling cues similar to the GT-R 650 race bike used in Royal Enfield’s GT Cup series. The motorcycle showcases a vintage-style fairing, enhancing its classic cafe racer identity. Side panels appear designed to display a racing number, further emphasising its retro racing character.
Wheels & Braking
The test mule runs on alloy wheels, which may be standard on the production version. The motorcycle also features a dual-disc setup at the front for improved braking. This setup matches the test mules of the upcoming Interceptor 750 and Himalayan 750.
Engine
Powering the new GT is a 750cc parallel-twin engine under the vintage bodywork. Unlike the 648cc engine, this one should deliver more power and torque. Royal Enfield aims to better compete with other middleweight motorcycles through this performance upgrade.
Expected Launch Date
It appears that the Continental GT 750 is close to final production. Royal Enfield shall launch it in India early next year. Given the enhancements, the GT 750 will carry a premium over the current GT 650.
