New Royal Enfield Himalayan to be powered by a 451.65cc engine

Recently we posted some undisguised pictures of the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan which is about to launch very soon and is expected to be called Himalayan 452 officially. Some of the specs of this adventure bike have been leaked.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be powered by a new 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine that produces 39.47 BHP. The peak power output of this motor will be available at 8000 RPM. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In comparison, the current Himalayan on sale produces 24.3 HP at 6500 RPM.

The wheelbase of the new ADV is 1510 mm, which is much longer than the current one’s 1465 mm. The width of the new bike is 852 mm, which has gone up from 840 mm. Length of the bike has increased to 2245 mm from 2190 mm.

The new Himalayan 452 will be officially revealed in November. We can expect the pricing to be revealed at the same time as well.

The new Himalayan 450 looks very different and mature compared to the existing 411cc Himalayan on sale and of course as the specs say, it looks much bigger as well.

It comes with LED headlight setup, LED blinkers and LED tail lights. The adventure bike will gets a USD fork. There is a new single-pod all-digital instrument cluster that will offer multiple information regarding the bike and is expected to come with smartphone connectivity for navigation, notifications, etc.
