Royal Enfield Launches 2 New Variants Of Classic 500

Royal Enfield has launched two new variants of the Classic 500. The Classic Chrome and Desert Storm are the latest variants of the Classic 500. The Classic 500 is one of the most desirable bikes and the new colour options make it all the more desirable. The changes are cosmetic and visual only but do a very good job in terms of visual appeal unlike other bike manufactures who come out with only stickering job and new colours. Engine option still remains the same, with power coming from the massive thumping 499cc UCE engine producing 27.2bhp of power and 41.3 Nm of royal torque. The company also has deferred the thought of a carburettor version of the Classic 500 which comes with Fuel Injection.

Classic Chrome Desert Storm is priced at Rs. 1,50,659/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai) while the Desert Storm is priced at Rs. 1,43,967/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The on-road prices of these bikes in Mumbai is Rs. 1.65 lakhs and 1.58 lakhs respectively. The Classic Chrome retains the styling with chrome tanks, oval tool box and wide mud guards apart from the tiger lamps that Royal Enfield bikes are famous for. The single spring saddle seat, the unique tail lamp, the Royal Enfield emblems on the engine and even the font on the speedometer are all inspired by the original styling of the 1950’s. The Desert Storm draws inspiration from the World War era, with its bold, sand colour scheme. The matt finish paint job, with the Royal Enfield monogram on the tank and the thigh pads. The Desert Storm is also equipped with all the features of the Classic Chrome.
