Skoda Previews Slavia’s Styling With Design Sketch

The Skoda Slavia design sketch reveals interesting details about the vehicle

Skoda Auto India has teased the design sketch of the upcoming Slavia C-segment sedan which will be unveiled later this year.

The Czech carmaker used the design sketch of the Slavia to announce a design contest named ‘Camouflage with Skoda’.

Despite having been spotted on Indian roads quite a few times, the complete design of the Slavia still remains under wraps.

However, the Skoda Slavia design sketch shows how the front end of the upcoming C-segment sedan could look. It will come with a wide grille, slim LED headlights and a muscular bonnet.

While the bumper looks sporty, it also houses a narrow air dam and small cut-outs for the fog lights. The sketch also shows the car with large wheels and sleek ORVMs and a prominent side character line.

Of course, like any design sketch, this one should also be taken with a pinch of salt and the production-spec model is likely to come with a bit less extravagant styling.

Like the Kushaq, the Slavia is also designed by Skoda’s teams at its headquarters and in India

For the ‘Camouflage with Skoda contest’, the firm has invited Indian designers above 18 years of age to take part and design a camouflage for the Slavia.

Entries to the contest will be open till 18th August 2021 and the top 5 entries shortlisted by a jury will be announced on 23rd August 2021.

The winner of the design contest will get the opportunity to travel to the firm’s headquarters in Prague and meet Head of Design, Skoda Auto, Oliver Stefani.

Skoda states the winning design will be applied on the upcoming C-segment sedan and will be showcased across the nation.
