Special Edition Honda CBR250RR Launched In Indonesia

Honda has launched the Special Edition CBR250RR in Indonesia which comes with the ‘Art of Kabuki’ bodywork.

The Honda CBR250RR is the lightest bike in its class with a weight of 165 kgs

PT Astra Honda Motor, Honda’s Indonesian subsidiary has launched the Special Edition CBR250RR. The motorcycle features an interesting theme called the ‘Art of Kabuki’ in its bodywork. The Art of Kabuki basically depicts the ancient and traditional culture of Kabukimono (an era of Samurai warriors). Well, enough of history and let’s talk about the motorcycle, shall we?

On the changes front, of course, you have this new bodywork, plus you get a frame that’s finished in red, a white pillion seat cowl, black finished front forks, asymmetrically painted rims with rim stripes (the front rim is painted in black while the rear is done in white) and lastly the motorcycle features an artwork that illustrates the map of Indonesia marking the motorcycle’s first anniversary in the Indonesian market.

Powering the Special Edition Honda CBR250RR is the same 250cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine that powers the regular CBR250RR. This motor churns out 38.7 HP of power and 23.3 Nm of torque and comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox. Other features on the motorcycle include ride-by-wire throttle, dual-channel ABS and a full-digital instrument cluster.

The suspension is the same upside down forks up front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock with Pro-Link at the rear. The motorcycle comes with 14.5-litres fuel-tank capacity and tips the scale at 168 kgs (with ABS).

Only 100 units of the Special Edition Honda CBR250RR are made available and this Special Edition super-sport motorcycle costs 7,08,25,000 Indonesian Rupiah (on-road, Jakarta) which is approximately Rs. 3.40 lakhs.
