Suzuki Hayabusa Price Increased, Priced At Rs. 18.06 Lakh

Suzuki Hayabusa Price Increased, Now Costs Rs. 18.06 Lakh (ex-showroom)

Suzuki has raised the price of its flagship superbike, the Hayabusa, after the recent GST hike. The Hayabusa now costs Rs. 18.06 lakh (ex-showroom). This increase is Rs. 1.16 lakh over the previous price.

GST 2.0 Policy

The government increased GST on motorcycles above 350cc to 40% from the earlier 28%. As a result, all premium motorcycles in India have become more expensive. The popularity of the Hayabusa directly affected it.

Sales Performance

The Hayabusa remains Suzuki’s highest-selling superbike in India. Enthusiasts choose it for its styling, performance, and comfort. Suzuki’s strong sales are consistently due to this reputation.

The price increase could temporarily slow down market demand. Due to the higher cost, buyers may postpone purchases. Still, the motorcycle’s popularity is unlikely to fade quickly.

Outlook

The Hayabusa has a cult following in India. Riders consider it more than just a superbike. With the passage of time, sales are expected to recover to pre-GST levels.
