Tata Curvv Spotted, Looks Like Jacked Up Sedan

Tata Curvv prototype spotted for the first time

Spy images of the highly anticipated Tata Curvv SUV coupe have surfaced, providing a glimpse into the upcoming vehicle’s design. It was showcased as a concept car at the 2023 Auto Expo.

The prototype was spotted in a parking lot alongside other test mules. Although the rear end of the test vehicle is concealed, it is expected to feature a steeply raked windshield and sleek, angular tail lamp units for a unique appearance compared to the Nexon.

The front profile of the Curvv and the updated Nexon will get similar styling treatment. Things on the Curvv will get different beyond the C-pillar. While it gets an SUV Coupe look, it seems like a jacked up sedan from the side profile.

Notice the swanky alloy wheel design on the prototype. The curved roofline looks cool but we hope there is no compromise of headroom for the rear passengers.

Tata Motors will also introduce a new design philosophy for the interior that was showcased at the Auto Expo. It will get a new two-spoke steering wheel which is expected to have an illuminated logo display. It will get an all-digital high definition instrument cluster and a large touchscreen unit for the infotainment system.

The Tata Curvv is rumored to offer a range of powertrain options including petrol, diesel, CNG and electric. There will be a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine which will be offered with a dual clutch automatic transmission.

The pure electric version of the Curvv is expected to be based on an updated EV architecture. We hope they offer better performance and more driving range with the EV.

The Tata Curvv production version is expected to be revealed sometime next year. It will be positioned above the Nexon in the lineup and ask for a premium for the unique SUV Coupe styling.

It will share its mechanicals with the updated Tata Nexon
