Tata Harrier Facelift Teased, Bookings Open On 6th October [Video]

Tata Harrier facelift looks similar to the concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo

Tata Harrier facelift has been teased officially by Tata Motors for the first time. The updated model will go on sale in the next few weeks during the festive season. Bookings to commence on 6th October.

The facelifted Tata Harrier will get substantial visual tweaks like new front fascia with connected LED DRLs, new grille design, revised headlight cluster on the updated bumper. You will see new alloy wheel design and new tail lights as well with a connected LED strip that runs across the width of the SUV.

The teaser shows the dynamic lighting of the front profile and the new signature gold colour. The Indian carmaker is expected to introduce a couple of new colour options with the facelift to make it look fresh. Similar exterior details were exhibited on the Harrier EV concept version at the Auto Expo.

The interior too will get some drastic revisions including the new steering wheel design. While the Tata Nexon facelift got a two-spoke unit, the updated Harrier and Safari will get a more premium 4-spoke steering wheel with the same illuminated logo on the horn pad.

The dashboard will get some tweaks in terms of colour tones and even the HVAC panel will get touch sensitive buttons to make the centre console look cleaner. The gear shift lever will also get Range Rover inspired design which looks short and premium. The upholstery will get new colour options as well.

Tata Motors will continue with the 2.0-litre diesel engine option that produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission option. It is speculated that the Harrier and Safari facelifts will get a new 170 PS 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine at a later stage. The Indian carmaker is also preparing to launch all-electric versions of both the SUVs in the future.
