Tata Harrier Images Out, Exterior & Interior Fully Revealed

Tata Motors has officially revealed the exteriors and interiors of the new Harrier along with the specs of the SUV.

As seen in the images, the Tata Harrier has been completely revealed. The images showcase the styling of the vehicle and the interior can also be seen clearly. The Tata Harrier is based on Land Rover’s L550 platform.

The Tata Harrier measures 4598 mm in length, 1894 mm in width and 1706 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2741 mm. The SUV’s unladen ground clearance is 205 mm and the fuel tank capacity is 50-litres. It has a kerb weight of 1675 kgs and gets 235/65/17 tyres on the top XZ variant. The boot space is 425-litres and can be extended to 810-litres with the rear seat folded.

Powered by a transverse-mounted, 2.0-litre, Kryotec 4-cyl diesel engine, the Tata Harrier churns out 140 PS at 3750 RPM and 350 Nm at 1750-2500 RPM. The engine gets Multi-Drive Modes like City, Sport and Eco. It also gets 3 ESP Terrain Response Modes – Normal, Wet and Rough. The diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The front suspension consists of independent McPherson strut with coil spring and anti-roll bar while the rear suspension gets a semi-independent twist blade. The Harrier gets a hydraulic power steering. The SUV gets disc brakes at the front and drums at the rear.

In terms of features, the Tata Harrier comes equipped with dual front airbags, seat side airbags, curtain airbags, ISOFIX mounts, remote locking, ABS, EBD, ESP, Corner Stability Control, Off-Road ABS, Traction Control, ESC, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Roll Over Mitigation, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Dynamic Wheel Torque by Brake, HID Xenons, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, 60:40 fold rear seat, 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 9 speakers, Android Auto, cruise control, climate control, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. Apple CarPlay isn’t available yet but will be introduced soon.
