Tata Xenon Pick-Up Launched In Nepal

Tata Motors had announced their foray into the Indonesian market as well as Australia just recently and now the Indian manufacturer is expanding its product portfolio in Nepal. The carmaker has launched the Xenon pick-up in Nepal targeting commercial buyers. The Tata Xenon is available in Nepal in both single cab and dual cab versions. The existing pick-up portfolio of Tata Motors in Nepal comprises of the Tata 207 DI pick-up for the large pick-up segment and the Tata Super Ace for the small pick-up segment.

Sipradi Trading is the official distributer of Tata Motors vehicles in Nepal and the Tata Xenon pick-up is available across all its dealerships in Nepal offered with a warranty of 3 lakh kms or 3 years. The Xenon is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine that produces a peak power output of 72 HP with a peak torque of 223 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Some of the safety features include 3-layered body construction, crumple zones, collapsible steering column, central locking, retractable seatbelts and side intrusion beams.

Convenience features on the Tata Xenon pick-up include power steering, adjustable steering column, cushioned bucket seats in the front with adjustable lumbar support, clutch foot rest and a mobile charging point. For heavy duty commercial application it comes with convenient loading height, 3-side drop load body and 2-stage semi elliptical leaf in the rear suspension to carry the heavy loads. Tata Motors believes that the Nepalese pick-up truck market is growing, hence the move to launch the Xenon pick-up.
