5) Audi Nanuk Quattro Concept

Audi Nanuk Quattro concept is intended to get into production in the future that has typical characteristics of a mid-engined sports car with a practical ground clearance. The Nanuk Quattro concept is a dynamic machine that can be driven on rough terrains as well as smooth tarmac with strong performance. The unique concept features a 5.0-litre V10 TDI diesel engine that produces 536 BHP of power and 1000 Nm of torque. It has a top-speed of 305 km/hr and 0-100 km/hr is achieved in 3.8 seconds.

4) BMW i8

BMW launched the production i8 plug-in hybrid sports car at the motor show. The BMW i8 retains most of the styling elements seen on the concept version. The attractive yet aerodynamic exteriors continue the similar design philosophy on the interiors. It is equipped with high-tech gadgetry. The Bavarian automaker has featured a hybrid powertrain which is high on performance and low on emissions along with 40 km/l of fuel economy. It comes with a starting price of $1,35,700 (Rs. 76.5 lakhs).

3) Jaguar C-X17 Sports Crossover Concept

One of the most awaited body-style from the Jaguar stable was unveiled at Frankfurt, termed as C-X17 Sports Crossover Concept. On the styling front, Jaguar left no stone unturned with the crossover concept. The styling was put together keeping in mind the current design language and a futuristic approach. The exteriors showcased busy and sporty styling while the interiors were kept minimalistic yet elegant. The crossover concept also exhibits the design study of the advanced aluminium monocoque architecture for future products, including the much awaited baby Jag.

2) Mercedes S-Class Coupe Concept

Mercedes-Ben unveiled the S-Class Coupe concept at the show that revealed a jaw dropping design. The unique coupe design language is a mix of the S-Class and CL-Class. You can also find SLS-AMG derived styling cues on the S-Class Coupe, which makes it look sleek and faster than the standard saloon. The S-Class Coupe is a low slung car that boasts a long and wide stance. The futuristic interiors are treated with high-tech features. It is powered by a 4.6-litre Bi-Turbo V8 engine that is good for 449 BHP and 700 Nm.

1) Volvo Coupe Concept

Volvo Coupe Concept grabbed a lot of attention at the Frankfurt Motor Show, exhibiting the future design philosophy of the Swedish automaker. The concept was also introduced as a study for the new Volvo Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), which is developed in-house especially for Volvo cars to get rid of cross-brand platforms in the future. The concept showcased confident styling inside out with new design cues. The upcoming XC90 will be the first product from Volvo which will be based on the SPA platform boasting similar styling as the Coupe Concept.
