Toyota commenced its programme aimed at creating awareness on road traffic safety among school children, as a part of the Road Safety Week in Ramanagaram. The Road Safety Week is a yearly programme held by The Traffic Police Department. To further this cause, every year Toyota joins hands with the Traffic Police Department. A traffic kiosk has been put up by Toyota in Ijoor Circle, Ramanagaram. The kiosk displays slogans and pictures to educate school students. An LCD TV has also been installed to create awareness through the animation film.
The programme implemented by Toyota will include several activities like : –
- Painting and drawing competitions, quiz on road safety,
- An animation film – A seven minute animation film uses the popular mass medium of communication to get the message on road safety to the students.
- A visit to the traffic park that simulates the actual road traffic
- Traffic safety games that educates school children on traffic safety through fun and learning. The games include puzzles, card games and board games
