Toyota Fortuner Facelift Spied For The First Time

The mid-life facelift of the Toyota Fortuner has been spied on test.

The SUV will get mild cosmetic updates

The Toyota Fortuner was introduced in 2015 and since 5 years the current generation is on sale globally. The Japanese carmaker is now preparing to introduce the facelifted version of the SUV, which has been spotted in Thailand recently.

The heavily camouflaged test mule suggests that the updated Fortuner will come with refreshed exteriors including the front grille, headlights and bumpers. The alloy wheels and tail lights are also bound to get some changes.

The interior is expected to get mild tweaks as well. It is likely to be offered with new upholstery, new touchscreen infotainments system and a few more features over the current model.

The Toyota Fortuner facelift is likely to be introduced in India later this year. It will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options with BS6 compliance.

The Toyota Fortuner will compete against the Ford Endeavour, Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tiguan, Honda CR-V, Isuzu MU-X, etc. The current model on sale will get updated with BS6 compliant engines and will see a price hike across all variants.
