Triumph Tiger 900 Launched, Priced From Rs. 13.70 Lakhs

The new Tiger 900 replaces the Tiger 800 series in their lineup

The British premium bike maker has finally launched their much awaited motorcycle in India. The Triumph Tiger 900 price starts from Rs. 13.70 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants – GT, Rally and Rally Pro.

While the GT version is more touring focused, the Rally variants are off-road oriented. The Tiger 900 GT is available in Pure White, Sapphire Black and Korosi Red colour options. The Rally and Rally Pro are available in Pure White, Sapphire Black and Matt Khaki colours.

Powering the bike is liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder, 888cc BS6 engine. It churns out 95 PS at 8750 RPM and 87 Nm at 7250 RPM. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.

All three variants come with a 7-inch TFT all-digital instrument cluster. However, the My Triumph connectivity system is available in Rally Pro only. It is a connectivity system with smartphone app that enables phone call, music operation, turn-by-turn navigation and GoPro control. It is accessed via the switch cubes. My Triumph connectivity system is available as an accessory option on the GT and Rally models.

The Tiger 900 GT and Rally variants get Rain, Road, Sport & Off-Road riding modes. The Rally Pro gets Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road, Rider-configurable & Off-Road Pro modes.

There is a compartment under the seat that houses a handy 5V USB power socket to keep your phone and charge it. The Rally Pro also comes with 5-way joystick, heated grips and electronic cruise control with electrically adjustable up and down.

Triumph is offering more than 65 accessories for the bike. It includes Trekker Kit for added touring accessories and Expedition Kit with off-road focussed accessories.
