TVS to launch adventure bike, electric cycles, expand Norton lineup in FY26
TVS Motor Company is gearing up to broaden its product portfolio in the Indian market by introducing an adventure tourer motorcycle and electric bicycles in the financial year 2025-26. The company revealed these upcoming launches in its FY25 annual report, marking a strategic move into growing mobility segments.
The new adventure motorcycle will place TVS in direct competition with established players in the premium touring space, while the electric bicycles, designed and manufactured in India, will cater to the increasing demand for eco-friendly urban mobility solutions.
The company also announced its intent to further the global presence of Norton Motorcycles, its iconic British subsidiary. Four new Norton models are scheduled to debut by Q3 of FY26 across India, the UK and major European markets. These models will include a flagship 1200cc four-cylinder superbike, expanding Norton’s offerings to six motorcycles over the next three years as part of its international growth plan.
On the domestic front, TVS recorded robust sales in FY25. Motorcycle volumes grew by 10.3% year-on-year, reaching nearly 22 lakh units, while scooter sales rose by 21.3% to 19 lakh units. The company’s electric scooter lineup also saw notable momentum, with a 43.9% increase in sales over the previous year.
TVS is banking on a strong, diversified product lineup and a focused strategy to maintain its growth trajectory in India and abroad, especially in premium and electric segments.
