TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition Launched, Priced At Rs. 48,934/-

The TVS Star City+ special edition adds new gold colour finished alloy wheels, graphics and new features to the motorcycle to celebrate the first year of sales.

Commemorating the first anniversary of its 110cc commuter offering, TVS Motor Company has officially launched the 2015 Star City+ Special Gold Edition in the country, priced at Rs. 48,934/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is updated with several new aesthetic changes and additional features added to the list as the limited edition offering introduces new white and gold colour combination for the first time, but makes no changes to the mechanicals.

As part of the upgrades, the 2015 TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition gets new styling elements including a white body colour with golden graphics which are complimented by gold coloured alloy wheels, gold coloured 3D logo and ‘Bike of the Year’ badging. The special edition Star City+ also gets new gold coloured TVS logo on the visor, contrast coloured beige side cover frame and a dual textured seat with red stitching.

The shock absorbers are finished in black completing the aesthetic updates. In addition, the TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition comes equipped with new tubeless tyres and a provision for USB mobile charging socket located under the seat. Power on the special edition motorcycle continues from the same tried and tested 109.7cc single-cylinder motor tuned to produce 8.4 PS at 7000 RPM and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM, paired to a 4-speed gearbox.

The TVS Star City+ uses a telescopic suspension at the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic shocks at the rear while stopping power comes from 130 mm front and 110 mm rear drum brakes. Compared to the standard model, the special edition Start City+ is priced at a Rs. 1800/- premium. TVS claims a fuel efficiency figure of 86 km/l on the Star City+.
