Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 350 To Be Full Faired

Rumors of Bajaj Auto launching the Pulsar 375/400 are in the air since KTM announced the Duke 390. KTM will bring out the Duke 390 with identical styling as the Duke 200. The Austrian motorcycle maker will also bring out other versions of the Duke 390 including a full faired version. Just like the Duke 390, Bajaj Auto was expected to bring out a more powerful Pulsar with identical styling as the Pulsar 200 NS. However Bajaj might be taking a different approach with the higher capacity Pulsar.

Now spy pictures of the upcoming Pulsar 350’s parts have surfaced, which points to the higher capacity Pulsar being a full faired motorcycle. The pictures clearly show the design of the headlight, tank, full fairing and cockpit. The speedometer comes from the 200 NS. The headlight seems to cut in half from below and the twin headlights are meant to accommodate projectors. The pilot lamps look like eyebrows to give the ‘Beast’ look. The rear-sub frame is visible too in this picture which shows it could be the perimeter frame seen on the 200 NS.

This upcoming Pulsar 350 is expected to share many of its engine parts with the Duke 390. Thus we can expect a 373cc engine with fuel injection, churning our around 35-40 BHP of power and 30 Nm of torque. Bajaj will play the value game, pricing the Pulsar 350/375 around Rs. 1.65 lakhs, which is high on value for a full faired motorcycle. While the pictures of the parts do point to the Pulsar 350/375 to be promising, we reserve our take on the new Pulsar till we see the motorcycle in flesh.
