Apart from sharing the platform with the upcoming XUV500, the Ford C-SUV will also share its engines which are expected to be a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel putting out 190 HP and 180 HP, respectively.

A year after Ford launches its first SUV by way of its Mahindra alliance, a second, B-segment SUV will hit the market. It will also be designed by Pininfarina.

Code-named BX745 by Ford, the smaller SUV will share its underpinnings with the Mahindra XUV400 (S204) which is under development.

To be powered by 1.5-litre mStallion turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, it will rival the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos and will measure about 4.3 m in length.
