Volkswagen Virtus’ Design Revealed Through Latest Teaser Video

Volkswagen has stuck to its typical design language while creating the Virtus

The complete design of the upcoming Volkswagen Virtus has been revealed through a new teaser video that the brand’s Indian arm posted on its social media handles.

Based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, the same as the Taigun, the Virtus has the typical sedan silhouette. Up front, there is a simplistic radiator grille flanked by LED lights with L-shaped DRLs.

The bumper has a large air intake and has a rather simple design much like the long bonnet that has 2 creases. Volkswagen has kept the front overhang to a minimum.

The new car from the German marque will be offered in regular and GT variants

Along the sides, the C-segment sedan has a prominent character line that runs below the waistline, while at the back there are wrap-around and split LED tail lamps, a boot lid lip spoiler, and the model’s name in bold lettering.

Since the model teased is the GT variant of the Virtus, it comes with model-specific badges and lots of chrome embellishment on the grille, window surrounds, door handles and also on the rear bumper.

Although the Volkswagen Virtus design revealed, the car will officially debut on 8th March 2022. It will come with tonnes of features including ventilated seats, digital instrument cluster, 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and many more.

The Virtus will come with large boot space

Customers will get 2 turbo-petrol engine options – a 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre unit (115 PS and 178 Nm) and a 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre motor (150 PS and 250 Nm) – and 3 gearbox choices.

The Skoda Slavia’s non-identical twin is scheduled to be introduced to the market in the month of May and will rival the Honda City and Hyundai Verna, apart from the Slavia, of course.
