Yamaha has set quite a high asking price for the R15M WGP 60th Anniversary Edition
Yamaha has launched the R15M World GP (WGP) 60th Anniversary Edition at a price of Rs. 1,88,300/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), today in India.
The new edition of the motorcycle comes in a white and red colour scheme and features gold alloy wheels, gold ‘Tuning Fork’ emblems, black levers and a commemorative badging on the fuel tank.
The R15M WGP 60th Anniversary Edition is inspired by the YZR-M1 and its introduction marks the company’s association with the premier series of motorcycle road racing since 1961.
Powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve motor (18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm) that is teamed to a 6-speed gearbox, the WGP 60th anniversary edition model shares all of its features with the regular model.
Thus, it comes with an assist and slipper clutch, a quick shifter (for upshifts), LCD digital dash, Bluetooth-enabled smartphone connectivity, traction control, dual channel ABS and more.
