Upcoming Yezdi Scrambler Teased

The short teaser video shows the Yezdi Scrambler being ridden on a beach

Yezdi has finally released a teaser video of its Scrambler motorcycle that is set to be unveiled on 13th January, 2022. The resurrected bike brand had earlier teased its Roadking which is also set to be unveiled on the same day as the Scrambler.

Featuring circular LED lighting units, the motorcycle built to tackle dirt tracks will come with wire-spoked wheels, both high- and low-set front fenders, cropped rear mudguard and a tyre hugger.

The bike will also come with a high-set handlebar, hand guards, a teardrop-style fuel tank, ribbed flat seat, a rear carrier rack and twin exhaust pipes.

The Scrambler will have no direct rival

Sporting telescopic suspension up front and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers, the Yezdi Scrambler in the teaser video had a blacked engine with metal polished fins.

Expected to displace 334cc, the single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor should produce 30.64 PS and 32.74 Nm of torque, the same as the Jawa Perak. The engine will be teamed to a 6-speed transmission.

More technical details about the motorcycle will be revealed by the revived brand next week along with the particulars about the Roadking and Adventure models.
