2016 Toyota Fortuner Launch In November, Reaches Dealerships

2016 Toyota Fortuner launch in November, the new generation SUV has started reaching dealerships with unofficial bookings commenced.

The new generation Toyota Fortuner is all set for its launch in India

2016 Toyota Fortuner India launch was not expected to happen this year as the Japanese automaker had put the plans on hold during the diesel ban in Delhi NCR. Now that the ban has been lifted, Toyota is preponing the launch to this year and in November itself. The new SUV has already started reaching select dealerships in India.

The new generation Toyota Fortuner will be taking on the new Ford Endeavour directly in the Indian market. The latter is doing quite well in the market since the outgoing Fortuner is outdated. However, the older Toyota is still giving the tough fight to the American SUV and the new generation is immediately expected to lead the charts with the amount of popularity it already has.

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner was recently spotted at a dealership in Ahmedabad. The dealer has started accepting unofficial bookings for the new SUV for Rs. 1 lakh. The launch is expected to happen in November with the deliveries starting at the same time of the launch. The much awaited SUV is likely to get a long waiting period.

Toyota has made radical changes to the new Fortuner making it look more aggressive and sharp while maintaining the rugged design. The interiors are also more premium and come with a ton of new features, some of them seen on the new Innova Crysta. Engine options will be the same as the Innova including the 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engines with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
