2017 Skoda Octavia Facelift Revealed, India Bound

2017 Skoda Octavia facelift has been revealed that comes with revised front section having separated headlights and new features on the inside.

The Skoda Octavia Facelift gets a revised front profile with new lights

The latest generation Skoda Octavia has just got its mid-cycle facelift that comes with a few cosmetic changes and updates in the equipment list. The front profile gets the maximum changes that include new dual headlights with full LED tech, revised grille and tweaked bumpers for both front and rear.

The alloys get a new pattern while the rest of the side profile remains unchanged. At the rear you might notice a slightly tweaked tail lamp cluster. On the inside too there are very few changes. However, the infotainment system has been updated which gets a 9.2-inch display with WLAN hotspot and SIM card module.

Some of the new safety features of the 2017 Skoda Octavia facelift include Predictive Pedestrian Protection with the Front Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Traffic Alert, optimised Parking Assistant, rear radar and rearview camera. The engine options remain unchanged, and it continues to offer the same diesel and petrol engines.

All in all, Skoda has done mild changes to the car to keep it fresh in the segment. The new dual headlamps might not look appealing to some but it is the most significant change on the exterior front. We expect Skoda to launch the facelift in India by next year considering its global launch by 2016 end.
