2019 Honda Civic Features Revealed, Gets Lane Keeping Assist

The 2019 Honda Civic is going to be launched in India very soon and it comes with a pretty long equipment list.

Honda will launch the new Civic in India next month and the D-segment sedan gets a long list of features. The 2019 Honda Civic will be available in 2 variants. The top variant will be called ZX and there’ll be a base variant too.

The 2019 Honda Civic gets LED headlamps & taillamps, DRLs, 17-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, sunroof, smart key, push button start, rain-sensing wipers, 7-inch digital MID in the instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. However, the base variant will get 16-inch wheels.

On the safety front, the sedan comes equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Watch Camera, Agile Handling Assist, Hill Start Assist and ISOFIX child seat mounts. It also gets an electric parking brake with auto-hold and a walkaway auto-lock feature.

The 2019 Honda Civic will be offered with 1.8-litre i-VTEC and 1.6-litre i-DTEC engines. While the petrol engine gets a CVT, the diesel engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Honda Civic will compete with the Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia and Toyota Corolla Altis.
