2020 Triumph Street Triple S Will Not Be Launched In India

The base model of the Triumph Street Triple range will not be launched in India.

The Street Triple S is the base variant in the Street Triple line-up

Triumph has revealed the 2020 Street Triple S in Europe and the motorcycle comes with changes to its styling and mechanicals. It even gets some changes to its electronics. The bike comes with LED headlamps and LED DRLs and it now looks very similar to the Street Triple RS.

Along with the new headlamps, the 2020 Triumph Street Triple S gets redesigned side body panels, a new fly screen and a tweaked rear section. It also gets new colour options with enhanced body graphics. Powering this motorcycle is a 765cc, inline-3 engine producing 111 HP and 73 Nm. This engine is Euro-5 compliant.

The European spec model also gets a 660cc variant producing 47 HP and 60 Nm on the A2-restricted model and 95 HP and 66 Nm on the derestricted model. The Triumph Street Triple S gets Showa suspension components and Brembo brakes. It even gets Road and Rain riding modes.

Having said that, the new Street Triple S will not be introduced in India, and only the range-topping Street Triple RS, with a 765 cc, in-line 3-cylinder engine, will be offered on sale for the domestic market.
