2021 Mahindra XUV500 Digital Instrument Cluster Spied Again

Hopefully the screens will have crisp graphics

Yet another day, yet another spy shot of the 2021 Mahindra XUV500, but this time, it is the digital cluster that has been captured by prying eyes.

Around this time last month, we had reported about how the dashboard of the latest generation XUV500 will look like, read article here, and now the digital cluster has been spotted again.

As can be seen from the image, the SUV will get a digital instrument cluster, while we know from images seen earlier that it will also have a digital infotainment screen alongside.

The setup will look like the one seen on modern Mercedes vehicles and, hopefully, Mahindra will provide crisp graphics and possibly the option to customise the driver’s display.

Also, the SUV will come with a flat-bottom steering wheel, electronic parking brake, rotary drive mode selector, dual-tone dashboard, and plenty of features are expected to be offered to customers, including autonomous emergency braking.

Expected to get launched by April next year, the 2021 Mahindra XUV500 will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and a diesel motor that is also said to have a 2.0-litre capacity.

Also, a smaller 1.5-litre turbo petrol might also be introduced for lower variants alone, while transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed auto. The SUV will rival the Tata Harrier, MG Hector Plus, among others.
