2021 Maserati Ghibli Range Launched, Priced From Rs. 1.15 Crores

The hybrid is the most affordable model in the range

Maserati has launched the 2021 Ghibli range at a starting price tag of Rs. 1.15 crores (ex-showroom) for the entry-level hybrid model.

That figure, which might seem conservative for a Maserati, quickly rises as one moves up to the V6 and V8 model range, topping out at Rs. 1.93 crores for the Trofeo.

For the 2021 model year, the luxury sports sedan receives a restyled radiator grille bearing the Maserati trident, adaptive LED headlights and new “boomerang” tail lights, while the rest of the car retains the sculpted curves and lines.

The Ghibli hybrid comes with a bespoke exterior paint called Grigio Evoluzione (which is a grey shade) with blue overtones. This model comes with the Saetta logo, side air vents and brake calipers all in blue, while inside too one can find blue stitching.

New for 2021 is a central touchscreen on the dash that is now 10.1-inches in size and featuring a new graphic interface. The instrument cluster too is new, with a larger rev counter and speedometer sitting on either side of the 7-inch TFT display.

All Maserati cars now feature the Maserati Connect programme using which the owner can keep an eye on the car’s health, get service due alerts, among other features, while there is also a Maserati Connect app and owners can also use Amazon Alexa or Google Assist to keep tabs on the car.

Features-wise, the 2021 Maserati Ghibli price will get customers soft-close doors, keyless entry, powered trunk with kick sensor, Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), and more.

Maserati claims the 2021 Ghibli has lightweight construction through the use of steel and aluminium alloys and that the cars have a perfect 50:50 weight distribution.

All models feature Brembo brakes and adaptive Skyhook suspension, while there are different wheel rim options for customers to choose as well. In addition, there are the Nerissimo Package and the Nerissimo Carbon Package to make the Maserati Ghibli look more aggressive.

When it comes to the powertrain, the 2021 Maserati Ghibli price will get people a variety of models with 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder engine options.

The Maserati Ghibli hybrid comes with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine with 48 V hybrid tech putting out 330 HP and 450 Nm. It can do the 0-100 km/hr run in 5.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 255 km/hr. This model is claimed to drink 20 percent less petrol, while also having regenerative braking.
