2021 Tata Safari Bookings Commence On 4th Feb, Features Revealed

2021 Tata Safari bookings will commence on 4th February. The SUV is likely to go on sale later next month. Tata Motors is offering three colour options with the new Safari – Royale Blue, Orcus White and Daytona Grey.

There will be a total of 6 variants on offer – XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+. There will be both 6-seater and 7-seater variants on offer for the range topping trim. 6-seater will get captains seats for the middle row.

Powering the Safari will be the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine from the Harrier. It produces 170 PS at 3750 RPM and 350 Nm torque at 1750-2500 RPM. It will be available with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

The new Safari is 4661 mm long, 1894 mm wide and 1786 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2741 mm. Compared to the Safari Storme, the new model is 6 mm longer, 49 mm wider, 136 mm shorter and the wheelbase is 91 mm longer.

It has a kerb weight of 1825 kg. The fuel tank capacity is 50 litres. Boot space with third row folded is 447 litres while 2nd and 3rd row folded space is 910 litres. Tata Motors haven’t revealed the turning radius and ground clearance yet.
