This unit has not been fitted with handguards yet

This particular 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 was spied Dharwad

The 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been spied yet again as countrywide dealer dispatches of the motorcycle have commenced.

Spotted by MotorBeamer Harish in Dharwad, Karnataka, the naked machine now looks like a proper entry-level sport tourer thanks to the additional fitments it has received.

For 2022, Bajaj will equip the Dominar 400 with a flyscreen, new engine cowl, pillion backrest and a luggage carrier. Of course, a saree guard is present too, while previously spotted units had handguards too.

Bajaj might introduce new colours for 2022

Although it will continue to come with the twin displays, the Dominar 400 should also feature Bluetooth connectivity from now on.

The spied 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 does not seem to have any mechanical differences in comparison with the current model on sale.

Thus, a 373cc liquid-cooled motor, good for 40 PS and 35 Nm of torque, teamed to a 6-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch will continue to power the bike.

Hopefully, the motorcycle will be able to find more buyers with this update

Bajaj currently asks Rs. 2.12 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Dominar 400 and the 2022 model should cost more thanks to the additional equipment.

However, the 2-wheeler major could keep the base price pretty much the same for the 2022 model and offer the touring parts as an optional pack. All will be revealed soon though.
