2024 Kia Carnival Leaked Ahead Of Debut, India Bound

2024 Kia Carnival leaked, gets a drastic visual update with this facelift

2024 Kia Carnival leaked ahead of its debut next month in South Korea. This is the facelifted version of the latest generation Carnival which is sold in the international markets.

Until now we used to get the previous generation of the Kia Carnival in India which has finally been discontinued officially. Kia India showcased the new gen model as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo but still didn’t launch the model as they might have planned to introduce the facelift of the latest generation, which make more sense.

Now let’s have a look at the changes of the new Carnival. It comes with a fresh front profile that gets a redesigned headlight cluster with fancy LED DRLs wrapped around the headlight and the grille. The grille design has also been revised completely and follows the latest design direction of the carmaker.

The side profile won’t get major changes apart from the new alloy wheel designs. The wheels spotted here on this car look quite fancy with square design elements. The rear profile too has got a new look thanks to the redesigned tail lamps that get new LED detailing. The tailgate has also been redesigned along with the new bumper. Overall the visual changes make it look fresh and the Carnival still carries that SUVish character with its design proportions.

The interior too is expected to get some updates in terms of new colour tones, new features and a few tweaks here and there. It will be available in multiple seating options like the outgoing model.

Kia is expected to launch the new Carnival in India by next year and they will assembled the completely knocked down (CKD) kits in the country locally.

There are no direct rivals of the Kia Carnival in India currently and it will fill the gap between the Toyota Innova HyCross and the Toyota Vellfire. This missing space has a big potential since the demand for such premium MPVs at a relatively lower price point is quite strong. It might even affect the sales of the Toyota Vellfire to a great extent.
