2026 Yezdi Scrambler Launched In India At Rs. 2 Lakhs

Yezdi Scrambler has been updated in India, marking its most significant revision since its initial launch. The refreshed model has been introduced alongside the BSA Scrambler 650 by Classic Legends, with a focus on improving performance, reducing weight and enhancing overall usability.

One of the key updates is a reduction in weight, with the motorcycle now tipping the scales at 174 kg (dry), making it around 8 kg lighter than before. This change is likely aided by a revised exhaust system, which now uses a single exhaust instead of the earlier dual setup.

While the overall design and stance remain familiar, the updated model features refreshed tank graphics, a ‘69’-themed side panel and a revised seat. The seat height has also increased slightly to 813 mm, indicating minor ergonomic changes.

The Scrambler continues to be powered by a 334cc single-cylinder engine, although it has been updated to deliver marginally higher output. It now produces 30 HP and 30 Nm, reflecting small gains over the previous version. The changes are expected to improve overall rideability rather than drastically alter performance.

The updated Scrambler introduces three riding modes, Road, Off-Road and Rain, which modify throttle response and traction control settings based on riding conditions.

Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, while the motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, maintaining its dual-purpose capability.

Priced at Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the updated Yezdi Scrambler sees a modest increase of around Rs. 5000 over its predecessor. With these updates, the motorcycle aims to offer a more refined riding experience while retaining its scrambler character.
