Apollo Launches Manchester United Dual Brand Special Edition Tyres

The special edition Apollo Alnac 4G tyre gets dual branding on the side wall sporting the Apollo and Manchester United logos and is targeted as a must have for the die-hard fans of the football club.

The branding is available on the Apollo Alnac 4G tyre and is restricted to the 15-inch rim size

Announcing its partnership with the highly popular Manchester United football club for a new scholarship programme to nurture young footballers in India, Apollo tyres has launched a dual branded special edition tyre sporting the logos from Apollo and Manchester United to mark the occasion. The logos of both the brands are visible on the side wall of the Alnac 4G tyre and is available only in the 15-inch rim size. The special edition tyre though has a limited production run and India is the third country after the UK and Thailand to get the same globally.

As you may have guessed by now, the special edition tyre gets the additional logo alone and does not sport any enhancements as such to the treads or otherwise for improved traction. The tyre is solely targeted at die-hard Manchester United fans that would want to keep it as a part of their extensive memorabilia. The company has commenced sales of the special edition tyre at its select outlets across the country.

For those interested in the football scholarship programme, Apollo Tyres in association with Manchester United Football Club and Youth Football International (YFI) have started the programme to nurture talent under 19 years of age. India is a country where football is one of the more popular sports and the programme will see two coaches from Manchester United Football School along with former Man. Utd. defender Mikael Silvestre select 6 kids out of 192 participants to train for a year with Youth Football International in Delhi. One of the selected participants will also get an opportunity to join a one-week residential training camp with the Manchester United Soccer Schools in the UK.
