Piaggio India Absorbs GST Hike For Aprilia RS 457 & Tuono 457
Piaggio India has introduced customer-friendly measures for its Aprilia 457 range in response to the revised Goods and Services Tax (GST) structure. The new GST rates have increased levies on motorcycles above 350cc to 40%, making them more expensive. However, Aprilia has ensured that buyers do not face any additional financial burden.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 will continue at its ex-showroom price of Rs 3.95 lakh. Piaggio has announced that it will fully absorb the GST hike on this model. This move makes the Tuono 457 one of the most accessible performance motorcycles in its segment.

Meanwhile, the Aprilia RS 457 offsets the GST hike entirely by offering additional benefits worth over Rs. 35,000. Customers directly receive an absorption of Rs 15,000 for the GST increase. In addition, every RS 457 includes a complimentary quick shifter valued at Rs 20,500, for Rs. 4.35 lakh.
