The Bajaj Dominar 400 has gotten pricier by Rs. 2000/-

The Bajaj Dominar 400 has good performance and cruises comfortably at highway speeds

Bajaj seems to be following the trend of rising prices in India. The company has hiked the price of the Dominar 400 by Rs. 2000/-. This is the third hike in the prices of this model since March 2018 and the seventh hike since the model was launched in 2016.

March 2018 saw Bajaj increasing the prices of its entire fleet of 2-wheelers. Then again in May 2018, the Bajaj Dominar 400 received a price hike of Rs. 2000/-. Now, the prices have been hiked again by Rs. 2000/- and the bike now costs Rs. 1,48,043/- for the base variant and Rs. 1,62,074/- for the ABS variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). There is now a difference of Rs. 12,000/- between the current price and the price at which the bike was launched in 2016.

Even after these regular price hikes, the Bajaj Dominar 400 is still plenty value for money. It’s smooth, has a 373.2cc engine producing 34.5 HP, rides well and we have even raced it against the Rajdhani Express from Vadodara to Mumbai. In January 2018, the bike got new colour options which included the premium looking gold dust coated wheel rims. The bike also gets two-years of free service and five-year warranty period which its direct competitors, the Mahindra Mojo UT 300 and the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X can’t boast of.
