Benelli 600RR Fully-Faired Motorcycle Image Leaked

The upcoming Benelli 600RR has been spied in production-ready form.

The 600RR looks quite striking

Benelli had discontinued the Tornado 1130 in 2014 and quit the sports bike segment. The 2-wheeler manufacturer currently offers scrambler, adventure, naked, and modern classic motorcycles. Benelli had developed a 600cc, 4-cylinder engine to be put on the Quattro motorcycle many years back but that plan never took off and eventually the engine was plonked in the TNT600.

Now, Benelli is going to use the same engine in their upcoming fully-faired bike. The motorcycle has been spied in production-ready form and it had QJiang branding (Qianjiang owns Benelli). Benelli will launch this as the 600RR and it’ll borrow its chassis from the TNT600i.

The motorcycle is expected to get features like keyless ignition, backlit controls, TFT display instrument cluster, etc. The Benelli 600RR will come with an underbelly exhaust and Brembo brakes along with Bosch 9.1MB ABS. The 600cc, inline-4 engine delivers 81.6 HP at 11,500 RPM and 51 Nm at 10,500 RPM on the TNT 600i and the power figures on this bike are likely to be similar. It will comply with Euro5/BS6 emission norms.

Benelli was going to officially reveal the 600RR in May or June 2020 but because of the coronavirus pandemic the company has postponed its plans. The motorcycle will be unveiled soon and it is expected to be launched in India. Here, it will rival the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR650R.
