Benelli BX 250 Showcased At 2016 Auto Expo [Live]

The adventure motorcycle will be the first of its kind off-roading bike to be presented in India. The bike has a top speed of 130 km/hr.

DSK Benelli entered India last year with a slew of very good looking bikes and has established a name for itself in the market. Here at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Benelli pavilion has been the most crowded of them all because of the spectacular bikes DSK has chosen to display here. Among them is the rough and tough looking adventure motorcycle the Benelli BX 250 Motard. The 250cc bike, if launches in India, is expected to carve out a new segment in the country which many enthusiasts crave.

The BX 250, as the name suggests, has a 250cc engine producing 25 BHP and 20 NM of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a wet type multi-plate clutch. The bike weighs just 135 kgs and can achieve a top speed of 130 km/hr. It has got a tubular chassis and both front and rear disk brakes with a two-piston calliper setup. The adventure motorcycle has 50 mm USD forks at the front and adjustable monoshock suspension the rear. DSK is unlikely to launch this bike soon and is just gauging the customer response at this moment.
